Welcome to the Dollism Plus USA series of articles! In the next couple of days, I will be blogging about this wonderful bjd convention, which has arrived in the United States for the first time since it was launched in 2006. Dollism Plus USA, hosted by Den of Angels, DollHeart and Mint on Card, was held on September 19-21, 2014 in Buffalo, New York, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
What makes this convention extra special is that it’s also a celebration of Den of Angels’ 10th anniversary. I’ve been a member of Den of Angels since its humble beginnings as a Yahoo group over a decade ago, and I am extra excited to celebrate this huge milestone in our forum’s history. I look forward to sharing my experience with you!
This post is the first part of the Vendor Hall tour. It features images from Peak’s Woods, DearMine, Aimerai, Magic Mirror, Nalisinko, Princess Doll, Ruby Red Galleria, Switch and Spirit Doll booths. Dollism Plus USA Part III article showcases pictures from Soom, Darak, Lati and many others!

Peak’s Woods Booth
To say that I was impressed with all Peak’s Woods dolls is a huge understatement. I was completely blown away by the detail, quality and beauty of their sculpts! The lovely ladies staffing the booth very very friendly and welcoming; I had a lot of fun chatting with them!
Peak’s Woods brought a lot of dolls, including those from the limited edition Alice in Wickedland series (available to order until October 31, 2014 directly from the company).
The outfits on all the dolls brought to the event were amazing! The Mad Hatter (Bella the Moon sculpt on Dandy body) ensemble was particularly stunning!
Most of the bigger dolls were displayed in couples. My favorite was the girl in the purple bow and her beau in platinum wig. I believe she is Wake Up Dlight in normal resin, but I am not certain.
Because sculpt names were not written down for any of the dolls, I have no idea what many of them are. If you know the names of any of the ones I didn’t identify, let me know by leaving a comment below!
Peak’s Woods also brought a whole lot of cute tinies! Unfortunately most of the pictures I took specifically of them came out blurry, thanks to very poor lighting at the vendor hall.
And, to wrap up the tour of Peak’s Woods booth, the girl I missed out on. I took too long figuring out if I want to take the plunge, and by the time I decided to go for it, she was gone. I was told that Dlight will be released again shortly, but, unfortunately, she won’t be available in Tropical Tan anytime soon.
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, then you know I am a huge fan of DearMine. If not, you can check out my DearMine BJD company review article from earlier this year to read more about them. When I found out that DearMine is going to be at Dollism Plus USA, I was very excited to meet the representative and see all of their cute anthros in person. Little did I know that DearMine owner herself is going to be staffing the booth! I was extremely happy and honored to get a chance to meet her and chat about DearMine’s gorgeous dolls! This meeting was definitely the highlight of the convention for me.
DearMine brought only anthro dolls with them, which were all incredibly cute! If I didn’t already own many of them, I definitely would have come home with one. Check out my DearMine Angela in rose resin full-set review, if you’d like to know more about the bigger cat anthro on the picture below.
The Picasso cats from the newly released line, Dear Beans, were present in green tea, white, rose and milk tea resins. From what I saw, they went fast! My favorites were rose and milk tea kitties.
The original Picasso from the Dear Classic line is quite a bit bigger than the little Bean cats. The one below had an amazingly intricate face-up!The set-up of this booth was one of my favorites. I loved how all the dolls were arranged in their own areas with supporting furniture and props!
Because this article is very image heavy, it is split into three pages. Continue onto the second page for Aimerai, Magic Mirror, Nalisinko, Princess Doll, Ruby Red Galleria, Switch and Spirit Doll pictures!
